11% Sitewide All-Battery

This also came in today. Enter "T0122" for 11% off everything at all-battery. Can also use "Tenergydeals" for free shipping over $25. Can't use both coupons at the same time (already attempted).

Have had good luck with their Tenergy Ni-MH cells. Originally found them for RC battery packs. Can vouch for the AA, AAA, and 9V cells (light/dark blue ones) and chargers. Use them in all our flashlights, remotes, headlamps, door chimes...

Re: 11% Sitewide All-Battery

A few months ago or so NiMH technology improved and ultra low discharge rechargeables came on the market. My wireless mouse batteries always died after a few weeks even though the mouse's power drain is nill. And the digital camera batteries had to be charged the night before picture-taking events. That's because most NiMH batteries lose all of their charge after a few weeks even if not used. The new ultra low discharge batteries keep their charge for months, a major improvement. Now my wireless mouse lasts a much longer time between charges. Most places still don't sell them. This place does:

Let me summarize my opinion of All-Battery and their self discharging Tenergy brand:

Be cautious with the cheap Tenergy batteries that you bought. Don't expect them to work when you need them to. The Tenergy brand self discharges as much as 50% of its charge when sitting unused for a week. They may work OK just after a full charge, but a week or two later they are useless until charged again. :banghead:

All-Battery is a company that I do not recommend doing business with. I bought many of their AA batteries and a few of their chargers a couple of years ago. I didn't need to use them right away, so I just put them aside in their unopened plastic cases. Several months later, I read complaints about malfunctions with some of the Tenergy batteries, so I opened all the cases and tried to charge the batteries. Many of them were very difficult to charge, but they finally did work. However, four of the AA cells were shorted internally, and they would not take any charge. I contacted All-Battery "customer service" (a true oxymoron! :confused_ma:) and offered to buy more stuff from them if they would include free replacements for the four bad cells they sent to me. Their reply essentially said that the original purchase was a little past warranty, and they did not want to hear about problems with those four bad cells. :bawling:

Instead of buying cheap Tenergy cells from All-Battery again, I bought some good quality Eneloop cells (that do hold their charge until you need to use them) from another company. I also bought a "smart" charger that can softly charge the cells at 200ma overnight, and it works great. :tongue_ma: The chargers I previously bought from All-Battery would force 500ma or more into the AA cells, and make them too hot to touch near the end of the charging cycle. I do not recommend anything that All-Battery sells. :452:

I bought the La Crosse BC-900 from Thomas shown below. Their customer service was top notch, and the La Crosse works great :coolbeer:. I use it every week to recharge the old AA and AAA Tenergy cells because they lose most of their charge even when they are not being used. I hope it will work as well with the Eneloop cells I bought, but I have not yet needed to charge them!

That's fine. That digital charger is very nice. Would like to have one myself.

I've been using this: http://www.all-battery.com/t-1000ult...batteries.aspx
For the past year in LED headlamps and flashlights w/o a problem. Will not kid you on the quality(not used in my AR weapon light). But for washing dishes when the power is out they do the job...
